Boat trip that takes you around the coast of Tofo in search of Whale Sharks, Giant Mantas, Dolphins and Humpback Whales

Join us for an ocean adventure along the beautiful Tofo coastline and discover the incredible marine wildlife that calls these waters home.

Depending on your luck as well as , the season and conditions, you may encounter whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, ray humpback whales s and many other marine species. You never quite know what might appear alongside the boat — and that is part of the magic.

Our experienced crew knows these waters well and will always make decisions based on the safety of both our guests and the wildlife. Encounters are never guaranteed, but every trip offers a chance to experience Tofo’s ocean in a completely different way.

The safari takes approximately 2 hours and all necessary equipment is provided.

Before heading out, we’ll give you a full briefing on our boat launch procedures and animal code of conduct, so you know what to expect and how we can enjoy these encounters responsibly.

  • Tofo is one of the world’s exceptional places for marine wildlife encounters. Wildlife is wild and encounters can never be guarenteed, but our experienced team knows the waters and will always make the most out of every opportunity. So unfortunately there are days where nothing may be found but that is nature!

  • Children are more than welcome if the weather conditions allow!

    Children should be on board at your own discretion, you know your child better than we do.

  • Ocean Safaris depend on sea and weather conditions, and safety always comes first.

    Conditions at the beach don’t always tell the whole story. Wind, swell, currents and conditions further offshore can be very different from what you see from the shore.

    If conditions are not suitable, we may delay, reschedule or cancel the safari. If we have to cancel and cannot find another suitable time during your stay, we will refund the cancelled safari.

    If we decide to go ahead with the Ocean Safari, we consider the conditions safe for the trip. However, safe does not always mean smooth or pleasant.
